Don’t Let It Go to Waste! (Proverbs 12:27)
The lazy man mentioned in Proverbs 12:27 is a paradox. He is willing to do work, but only to a certain extent. For example, he is able to expend enough effort to catch some game. But then, for whatever reason, he stops. Although he has a successful hunt, he refuses to cook the animal he catches so that he can eat it.

Life
| Happiness these days is definitely overrated. Happiness may have at one time meant something deep and lasting — something even spiritual, like when America was founded on the pursuit of it — but happiness is now so tied to material possessions and the things that money can buy that it is hard to imagine it being thought of as anything else.

The Power of a Changed Life
| I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. (John 4:35 NIV)

Like Yeast
The heart of him who receives the grace of God overflows with love for God and for those for whom Christ died. Self is not struggling for recognition. . . . He is kind and thoughtful, humble in his opinion of himself, yet full of hope, always trusting in the mercy and love of God.

Awake from sleep
There are those who have the blazing light of truth shining all around them, and yet are insensible to it. They are enchanted by the enemy, held under a spell by his bewitching power. They are not preparing for that great day which is soon to come to our world. They seem utterly insensible to religious truth

Is your world Narrow
Or do you worship the gods of money and materialism? Do they captivate your attention? Do they own your heart? Do they drive you? Do they dictate how you invest your life?

MAN LOOKS AT THE OUTWARD APPEARANCE, BUT THE LORD LOOKS AT THE HEART
Others may not recognise your potential or think you're important, but God does. Remember David? When others saw a shepherd boy, God saw a king!

I BROUGHT HIM TO YOUR DISCIPLES, AND THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO CURE HIM
Ever notice that whenever some people are in trouble it's always the fault of the pastor, the church, their mate, their boss, their family or origin, their looks, their social status, or some other excuse?

MY SON...FREQUENTLY HE FALLS INTO THE FIRE, AND...WATER.
Anytime you keep making the same mistakes, falling into the same traps, jumping into the same relationships, getting hooked on the same habits, it's time to take your problem to Jesus! Henry Van Dyke says...

'JONATHAN MADE A...VOW TO BE DAVID'S FRIEND.
Jonathan made a...vow to be David's friend...by giving him his robe, tunic, sword, bow and belt.' He risked his life to help David, despite his Dad's saying that Jonathan would never be King or have a kingdom as long as David was alive (see 1 Samuel 20:31 NIV).

[WE]...GAIN...WISDOM FROM THOSE WHO HAVE LIVED A LONG TIME
You can learn a lot from 'Those who have lived a long time.' One elderly lady says: 'One benefit of living so long, is sharing what I've learned.

People-pleasing !
It is sometimes called peer pressure, co-dependency, or people-pleasing, but God's Word says, 'Fear of man is a dangerous trap.'
