What is Microsoft Teams:

HOSTING A MEETING

Are you the department head and want to host a meeting for your team? Not to worry, you can certainly host your meeting on the new and secure Teams platform.

Simply download and install the Microsoft Teams application on our phone, tablet or desktop.
Important: Since you are hosting a meeting using your desktop, it is important that you install the Teams for Work or School as you will be logging in using the departmental account credentials.
Next, after Teams has been installed, launch the Teams app and sign in using the email and password credentials that were provided to you.
Once logged in, simply create either a re-occurring meeting or a single meeting for the time and date you wish to have your meeting. Once the meeting is setup, you can send the meeting information to your team members.

Your team will be able to join the meeting using Teams or via audio using their device.

JOINING A MEETING

Joining a meeting is simple and easy. You can join a meeting using Teams, from the web or via audio. The organizer of the meeting would have sent you an invite which will include all the meeting information such as Meeting ID and Passcode or join the meeting using the phone # and Conference ID provided.

To join the meeting via Teams, use the link on the right to download Teams on your device.

Once you download, install and launch Teams, you can sign into the meeting you were invited to using your personal email.
